Social Science Coursework

Intro to Sociology:  This course provides a foundational understanding of how societies function and the social structures that shape behavior. It helps me understand the broad cultural contexts in which businesses operate and how societal values influence consumer behavior. This is crucial for developing marketing strategies that resonate with different social groups in global markets.

Principles of Psychology: Understanding the psychological processes behind decision-making is key for any marketer. This course helps me gain insight into how consumers perceive products, make purchasing decisions, and respond to marketing efforts. This knowledge is invaluable for crafting messages and campaigns that effectively appeal to target audiences.

Moral Psychology:  As marketing professionals, it's essential to understand the ethical considerations behind consumer behavior and business practices. This course helps me navigate the moral implications of marketing strategies, ensuring that I approach advertising and communication in a way that is both responsible and culturally sensitive.

Money and Magic: This course explores the intersection between economics and culture, particularly focusing on how people’s perceptions of money, value, and magic influence consumer behavior. This is especially relevant in global business settings, where different cultures might have varying beliefs and attitudes toward money, which can impact marketing strategies.

Marketing: This foundational course covers key marketing principles such as market research, segmentation, branding, and the marketing mix. International Marketing - Barcelona: The course in Barcelona gives me hands-on experience in understanding how businesses adapt their marketing strategies to suit different international markets. Global Leadership - Barcelona: This course explores leadership theories and practices in an international context.
